Extra Large Wooden Maze #1

This is a new EXTRA LARGE version of the wooden maze suitable for hamsters, gerbils, small rats and other small and medium sized rodents who enjoy exploring tunnels. If you are looking for a toy to provide interest and mental stimulation for your fluffy friend then this might be what you are looking for. I originally made this for our own hamster (Ken) as I couldn’t find anything large enough online.

The maze is available with or without a clear perspex roof. If you think your fluffy will simply climb out of the top of the maze then consider buying the maze with the roof. Also you can purchase a wooden base for the maze to sit on. The base comes in two peices and makes it much easier to carrty the maze around once its constructed.

The wooden maze measurements are:

Overall size : The maze is approx 80cm by 80cm (31.5 x 31.5 inches) and its height is approx 12.2cm (4.8 inches).

Compartment size : There are 36 compartments each of which measure approx 11.9cm by 11.9cm (3.1 x 3.1 inches).

Entrance/exit size : Both the maze entry and exit are 7.8cm x 7.8cm (2.25 x 2.25 inches)

Wood thickness : 6mm

Material : Poplar plywood and optional acrylic roof

The maze is shipped flat packed with 14 pieces wall sections and two optional roof panels. The maze can be assembled without the need for any additional tools, fixings or glue as it simply slots together. Please note that I would recommend that this maze requires adult assembly.
