Safety Eye Jig

If you have ever struggled to get the backing washer/clip onto a safety eye, then this safety eye jig might be able to help you. The safety eye backs have to fit very tightly to ensure that they cannot be accidently pulled off. This unfortunately makes them very hard to push on with just your bare hands. This handy safety eye jig gives you extra leverage to make the task easier. The jig has 5 different sized holes so that it can be used with eyes in a variety of sizes.

There are different ways the jig can be used to help, you will find out which way suits you best. One example would be to place your safety eye through your make, then place it face down on a table with a soft cloth underneath to prevent scratching the eye. Put the backing clip into place and then use the appropriately sized hole in the jig to push down on the back, clipping it into place. Alternatively you could place the jig on a table, place the backing piece on top of the appropriately sized hole, then push the eye through your make and onto the backing piece.

Personalisation

By default the jig is delivered with “Safety Eye Jig” etched onto its top. However if you would like this replaced with some words of your choice that’s not a problem. So if this is a gift and you would like a persons name, or you want to add your company name/logo, just enter the details into the personalisation text box.
